The PGari Glowee app contains no analytics, no tracking and no advertising. It does not report what you do, when you use it, or what is on your screen.
PGari Glowee contacts our licence server on exactly two occasions:
Both requests carry the same three things: a one-way hash of your Mac’s hardware identifier, your macOS version, and the PGari Glowee version. The raw hardware identifier never leaves your Mac, and the hash cannot be turned back into it or linked to you as a person.
When you activate, the name you gave your Mac is sent too, so that you can tell your machines apart if you ever need to move a seat.
After activation PGari Glowee never contacts us again. It works entirely offline.
Our website counts visits with its own small script, run on our own server. It uses no cookies, involves no third party (no Google Analytics) and does not store your IP address. For each page view it records the page, the site or campaign link that sent you, your screen size, browser language and time zone, how long you stayed, and whether you clicked download or buy. To tell one visitor from the next during a single day, it keeps a one-way hash of your IP address and browser made with a secret that is replaced every day and then deleted, so the hash cannot be traced back to you or followed from one day to the next. The figures are used only to see which pages and links work, and are never shared.
If you press Allow in the cookie question, the site also loads Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC), which sets cookies starting with _ga and tells Google which pages you viewed, where you came from, and whether you downloaded or bought. Google handles that data under its own privacy policy and may transfer it outside the EU. If you press No thanks, or never answer, Google Analytics is not loaded. The page's fonts are served by Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the page loads. You can change your mind at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.
A purchase gives us your e-mail address, your country, the amount, and the order reference — enough to send your key, honour a refund and keep proper books. We never see your card number: Paddle.com Market Ltd handles the payment as merchant of record and holds that data under their privacy policy.
Licence and order records are kept for as long as the licence is valid and for seven years afterwards, as Swedish bookkeeping law requires. Trial records are kept for one year.
Under the GDPR you may ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to erase it where the law does not require us to keep it. Write to glowee@pgari.com and you will have an answer within thirty days. You may also complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).
Nobody. We do not sell, rent or share your data. The only third party involved is Paddle, and only to take the payment. Our own visitor statistics stay on our own server; Google Analytics data goes to Google only if you allowed it.
